Chapter 9.1 - Making PC Controlled Serial Robot using 8051 Microcontroller on Breadboard - Description

We have seen how the serial communication works. The circuit diagram and breadboard connections are almost same as previous chapter's breadboard connections. In fact we are going to eliminate few of the connections. The programming is a bit of complex here. Because we are going to use timer functions etc to synchronize our robot. We will be using serial terminal to send the characters to the robot. The robot will receive the command and follow the commands. For ex: if we press f then the robot will move forward, if we press b then the robot will move backward and so on. Jump to the next chapter to gather the components and start building.
