3. Connect 1st pin of 16x2 LCD to the Gnd lane of bread board, as shown in the below image.

4. Connect 2nd pin of 16x2 LCD to the Vcc lane of breadboard as shown in the below image.

5. Connect Pin 15 of 16x2 LCD to Vcc lane of breadboard.

6. Connect Pin 16 of 16x2 LCD to Gnd lane of 8051 Microcontroller. Take the reference of below image.

7. Connect Pin 3 of 16x2 LCD to Gnd lane of 8051 Microcontroller.
